I See You Even in the Dark

I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night—

but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day.

Darkness and light are the same to you.

There is not one place you can hide that I am not there with you, watching over you. Even when darkness surrounds you, it is still light to me. I am Light and Life. There are times that you feel shame and run from Me, but I will still pursue you even in those times. My love will never stop chasing you. I will never abandon you or fail you. Run to me, do not run away from Me. When you feel unworthy, I still want to comfort you. I still want you to run to me. Let My light shine in your darkness. Know that you could never do anything that would turn my face from you.  I stand with open arms no matter what you have done or where you have been.
